John served with the Baltimore City Police over 22 years, with 8 years as Sergeant of the Mounted Unit. Baltimore winters riding a horse was harsh, the officers were not as efficient while trying to stay warm. Then John found heated clothing & introduced it to his unit. They found themselves more focused on the job, rather than how cold it was outside.

 

John and his wife, Dawn, decided to test heated gear in their personal lives. Suddenly winter camping trips with the Boy Scouts and chilly morning rides on their motorcycles were warm & enjoyable. It was then they decided it was time to help others feel the warmth.
